its been a mod forever and not been in the core game for that long as well...

Pretty sure it won't get added ever due to balance reasons....it flat out makes the core threatening element of tribal raids COMPLETELY inconsequential, as well as the shielded melee rush pirate raids.

I use this Medieval time. It is nice and good.

But yes..it makes everythink much easier. You have to re-balance the whole game around it.
