[Mod Request] XCOM 2 Weaponry and Armour

Hiya, really into XCOM 2 and I wanna kit my squads out with XCOM gear and weaponry. I'd love if someone could make a mod to add all of the gear! If anyone accepts this mission, please make it compatible with Combat Extended (it'd need 2 new ammo types for the Mag and Plasma weaponry).

Could use plasteel in place of alien alloy to build the armour, or if someone wants to, could go all out on the mod and add missions on the world map like UFO crash sites to scavenge in order to get Elerium for the plasma weapons and high-tier armour, and alien alloy for everything. Might be a bit much, but it could be possible to build the Skyranger and a landing pad as a construction and if a caravan leaves the colony with a Skyranger built they have the option to use it, gaining significantly boosted speed and ignoring both roads and terrain movement speeds (including winter effects).

The Skyranger would disappear from the landing pad when the caravan leaves. It could also have a big item carrying capacity and they could load onto it and leave the visible map area by the Skyranger itself flying to the map edge instead of them walking there. I'm not sure how possible that last thing is, but it would be awesome! Obviously, the Skyranger should be extremely expensive to build and require a lot of research, to balance it out a little. Another balance mechanic could be a limit of 4 pawns onboard the Skyranger with two research projects to increase that to 5 and then 6.

I wonder if it's possible to detect if pawns have certain gear equipped and use that to determine which battle music is played when engaging enemies. Could add the various battle tracks from XCOM's OST and only let the game play them when on missions with an XCOM squad. That would also be a cool touch.

It's a big request, and the whole mod would be incredibly overpowered but that's kinda the point. It would just be incredible fun to have XCOM stuff in Rimworld.

Hey, nice to see other people who loves that game too.
I really like vanilla armour and weapons, but that mod could be cool. Also, don't forget the quintessential mod for the XCOM set: Pawn missing shots even from point blank.
Lavish meal, now with extra Yorkshire terrier meat.

Hey! I'm so glad others here share my love for XCOM. :D Of course, we need soldiers randomly swinging their gun a full 30 degrees at the last second and subsequently missing the shot... but RimWorld kind of already simulates that. ;D
