Rimworld 0.0.254 WINDOWS FREEZES

I am running RimWorld 0.0.254 Windows XP sp3. No matter what i do the game freezes my entire computer and game in between 10 days and 30 days.  i have changed every graphic setting that i can, whether in the game or my computers graphics settings. i have tried everything i can think of. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO !!!! someone please help me. i want to get further into the game than the 14 day average that i am currently getting.

0.0.254? Hm, perhaps you could try getting the latest version? We're currently on 0.0.466. A lot of things have been changed since then so it's probable that whatever your issue is, it had been fixed.

0.0.254 has alot of copies circulating in the torrent circles... that's probably the reason, and I won't judge.

However storymaster has it down, your issue has most likely been dealt with and if not, it's probably because of your system; what specs are you running?
