[L|0.5.492] Can't start game if folder has an Umlaut in it

I'm running Ubuntu 12.10 in German and the Desktop is called "Arbeitsfläche".
If I want to start the game out of there, Rimworld won't start at all, and doesn't give out an explanation why.
After copying the game to an other folder, it works perfectly.

The logfile shows up the problem here:

Couldn't open file //home/petl/Arbeitsfl%E4che/RimWorld492Linux/Mods/Core/Textures/Things/Plant/Rose/RoseA.png
It tries to open it out of the "Arbeitsfl%E4che" and not out of the "Arbeitsfläche"
