I'm not sure if this was intended but pretty much anytime anyone jumps into my map they go crazy and start killing each other.

Its epic to watch the show, and a chore to keep cleaning/looting the bodies.

thats probably because they are two different raider factions that happened to attack you at the same time. each faction has different relationships with other facitons. I assume pirate factions are probably hostile to everybody.

honestly I love it when this happens. the free gear really helps me out when Im stuck with peashooters and people come at me with rifles.

These guys are (from an allied faction) friendly and attack their own faction. Its funny. Economical. and Lets me outfit my guys as I see fit. If the faction was hostile then free colonists. As I'm not in the business of creating more enemies even if they are ripe for the capturing.

I had this happen to me. This large group of of people form another colony showed up, got into a gunfight over some unknown reason and left like 6 dead bodies laying around. The remaining ones then started to use my table and eat my colonists meals. Is that normal for npcs to eat your food? I got sick of them eating the meals and arrested one. Another gun battle broke out and i murdered them all.

I actually like that they eat my food, it keeps the cannon fodder happy and protects my 20 mortars.

Early on this could end you however...
