Issue with Steam Pricing for this region and my Country Bahrain.

I recently noticed that the game is basically at half the price in USD for my region. All my surrounding countries that are richer than my country and have higher GDP have the game prices set to ~18 USD. While i'm looking at full price of $35. What makes 'Bahrain' my country the exception when Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait all have cheaper prices?
