Super excited about lockable doors in Alpha 7

With all the great new big stuff we know is going to be added in Alpha 7, I find myself the most excited about lockable doors. I think I now understand what Tynan meant in the Cheapest Ideas thread when he spoke about small elements leading to complex gameplay changes.

What I am going to do with my lockable doors:
- emergency bunkers:
dig into the mountain, create some rooms with a food stockpile, loaded batteries, beds, etc. Optionally add a killbox in front. Lock it out so the colonists don't eat the food there. Hide inside in case of an extreme raid
- emergency food:
like the above but simpler. I am going to create locked "larders" that the colonists won't touch until I tell them to.
- asylums:
I am going to create mini-facilities with a yard full of roses, beds and food for the mentally unstable colonists. Oftentimes, they go nuts at the worst of times (during raids, for example) and keeping them locked up in a friendly and beautiful place can help minimize the damage.

and of course the obvious ones:
- keep my colonists from going outside during raids
- keep my "allies" from entering the colony and eating all my stuff

What I am hoping Tynan will add in the future:
the possibility to only allow select colonists to pass through the doors. This would allow for a lot of additional cool things, like creating chambers for your VIP colonists where others are not allowed to enter, streamlining workflow (e.g., only allow the hauler to enter the room with a secondary stockpile, thus forcing the other colonists to use the primary stockpile for construction), etc.

I'm also really excited, I've always tried to make secure bunkers but... it's more or less just really annoying to make them work practically when the only way to keep colonists functional inside of them is to draft them.

Neurotoxin

I'm actually slightly sad about it as it obsoletes my only current mod :( I'm ok with it though as it's one less thing for me to keep up-to-date now and I can focusing on creating something new once I've updated the save editor. That and it's pretty cool to see something I've made going into the base game (disclaimer: I'm not claiming Ty is using my code [though he could being that A, it's MIT licensed and B, I'd say yes anyway], or that I was the first one to make lockable doors).

I'd like to be able to leave doors open or closed Q.Q

Hmmm Haplo should see about tying his alert mode thingy to the door locks, like a panic room or something, infact im sure I could come up with something....ideas a brewing...*wanders off mumbling*
Skullywag modded to death.
I'd never met an iterator I liked....until Zhentar saved me.
Why Unity5, WHY do you forsake me?

The Misc mod's doors let me set up epic traps for my...uh guests.
