You are safe if thats what your looking to hear, stripe is an accredited company just like paypal for merchants to sell. So if you trust the dev then have no fear anyhow because he even helped me one on one after I did the wrong email in my order. Google stripe a bit if your very uncomfortable to see who they are what they provide. But don't worry yourself to much hes got a real product here to sell hehe

i am new here but if you do not have paypal and want to be sure you have a secure risk free method to pay for something online i suggest using prepaid credit cards and while there is a small fee and you have to refill it that method is very safe.  You can then use that to open a pay pal account.
