when i start a colony I get a black screen

When i start a colony all I get is a black screen I did not have this problem with the previous update.

Did you generate a new world after installing the new version?

Yes it was a new world with no mods and a fresh install.

I know this sounds stupid, but are you sure you've generated a new world and not just a new colony? same thing happened to me and it took alot longer than it should have, 3 re-installs and a thread on here to realize I was generating a new colony on an old world, but havnt seen it since I generated a new world.

Yeah, it was as easy as making a new world. But also deleted my old ones as well , so not to use them in the future...
