Colonist will not build and i cant prioritize/right click menu doesn't come up

I am trying to build a new building and i cannot get the colonists to build no matter what and it only seems to be wood stuff that doesn't require any steel. Also when i select a colonist and right click on the blueprint i do not get a menu.

> F9 / F10  hide menus (i panic sometimes)

> try mining metal and chopping down trees. you may need materials to continue building those structures.

> claim existing structures and then de-construct them.

thanks it was showing a false number for the amount of wood.

What building was it? So we can fix this for later.
