Ocean/Coast Colonization

While as cool as it sounds, TrashMan is sadly correct. You would have to have land /somewhere/ to start out at. Now I'm no scientist, or person who makes a living off of theories. However in order to build those structures, it all starts with land. You could build out, maybe even get /really/ far. But it would be connected to land, /somewhere/. If Tynan did allow you to build a colony completely in water, it would have to be explained. And unless you can speak on scientific terms, there's not much more to discuss.

Again, I could be wrong and if so, I concede willingly, but I can't even begin to fathom how it'd work without land /somewhere/. No construction materials, no supplies, left alone no land.

Maybe you can also add a new tupe colonist like a fish man or something like that
