Overview Window and Character Skills Tab loss of functionality

In Alpha 8 I could have the character skills tab open AND the overview window up and still be able to use the < and > keys to scroll through the characters with both interface elements open and now in Alpha 9 I can no longer do that.

I know you can mouse over the overview boxes to see relevant skills however I like the flexibility of comparing multiple colonists via looking at their entire skillset by flipping through their character sheets when making a decision on who should prioritize what.

Bring back that loving feeling?
