So many wonderful new suprises!

From being able to force my colonists to eat (THANK YOU SO MUCH TYNAN!), to rescuing an outlander with only one leg (and then starving him because i couldn't do anything else), to opening up a tomb and finding ancient hostile mechanoids, to encountering a trade ship called FU securities, to rescuing a spacer called Badluck, This alpha 9 has proven to be quite exciting!

I had a combat supplier called FU Travelers once. I took their advice after purchasing the minigun they were selling.

But speaking of wonderful surprises, todays changelog looks awesome. I'm hoping this means we can mod in things like pinball tables, arcade machines, etc...

Yes the fun system is designed to be entirely open to modding. You can mod new fun sources like consumables (drugs) or buildings (pinball). You can also add new fun-seeking behaviors that aren't attached to things, like psychopaths beating prisoners for fun, or people cloudwatching.

In fact the needs system is now broad enough that you can quite easily add your own entirely new need if you want. E.g. implement the social system before I do

No, Tynan keeps a log of stuff he's working on which will (usually) be included in the next Alpha release.
