Re-enable corpses medical operations

Pretty self explainatory.

Don't know WhyTF was disabled.

I think this is related to the ITab_Pawn_Health inspector tab, but I couldn't locate that in any way

This makes the game more difficult. Bionics die with the rest of the person. It was too easy to get bionic parts before and this balances that. imo.  However, maybe this could be a settings option.

Do you mean this is inaccessible for mods, or that you want this in vanilla?

Harvesting organs from dead people/mechanoids would take an already broken economy and break it even further. You could get rich very fast off of very few people/mechanoids. (Heck, the mechanoids alone would shoot you pretty high depending on how many scythers you get.)

Considering how hard it is to buy Bionics now, maybe a new better solution would be to reduce the number of raider wearing bionics.
Plus, if raid are going to be less numerous, less killbox-raider-killing-factory ...etc then bionics would become rarer.

I have to say I'm VERY exasperated we can't retrieve them DEAD when we could ALIVE, That is unless you make it impossible to retrieve once installed.

It makes sense, beyond just play balance. IRL you need either a living person or a very fresh corpse to get a donor organ that's good for actually performing a transplant. And why would the bionics manufacturers want what they're selling to be so easily yanked off a paying customer and still remain useable? Sounds like a great way to invite unscrupulous people to murder your clients for their own (fun and) profit, not run a business.

It was a balance thing.
Changing how often they show up in raiders would require a change in how equipment generates. (It uses a point system at the moment?)

Harvesting organs from corpses is something you need to do FAST, so you have a very small time window to do it.

So I don't see something logical and real as "broken".

Especially since after an attack, you are probably going to have wounded colonists, fire, repairs and other stuff to worry about, so your doctor may not be available.
Not to mention that organ extraction by unqualified personal may result in damaged organs.

Yep, I was trying to mod that, but my knowledge is below .dll editing or whatever.
But I can "copypaste" and edit plain text like a master xD

Actually, I wasn't thinking on that in the "commercial point of view", looting raider corpses and selling it, but in the "recycle my own fallen colonist implants POV".

Perhaps the solution would be being able to get some components, which then could be used to manufacture implants.

I have little time playing the A9, and that was a feature I liked about A8.
