How does this game update?

I bought Rimworld a couple of days ago and I wondered how do this game update? Does it update automatically if you purchased the game or do you have to download the updates like Minecraft did long ago?

To my understanding every time there is a new update (at least until it is put on steam or if you don't like steam) you will recieve an e-mail with the newest version and 3 downloads.

Untill there are new platforms for distribution you wont actually update the game but download an entire new version.
The game luckily isnt that big.

Where did you get your first download link from d-;
The same way as that happened you will receive a new link with the update.

So always check your email (most likely your paypall email) you used to buy this game.

Yes he changes the email for you. He did it for me because my father bought it via paypal and Tynan changed my fathers email into mine
