I never watched any anime (well, besides some random episodes of Naruto back in the days) for two reasons. 1 is i never came across any interesting anime, and 2 i hate all the cliches, weird faces, over dramatization etc.

Also, i benefited from that list as well, so that effort will surely pay-off
