Watching single-player gameplays because you can't beat the game yourself is kinda cheating, yes, but when it comes to competitive multi-player games, i don't think watching gameplay is like cheating. You simply learn from someone who is better than you at the game.

I bet it's not weird the way you're doin it. My guess is you're listening to someone talking u thru wat your attempting to do in game. Like a walkthrough video. Otherwise it sounds distracting & confusing.
