I didn't bother examining it too closely, but unless I missed something, it looks like the code is set to make sure that no pawn has a chronological age that would indicate a birth date any earlier than 2026 AD.

If you force too many birthdays on a pawn, he will turn age 0 and be labeled as a baby. I can't remember how many it takes anymore. This implies Tynan intends on makin babies, know what i mean?

I think it all depends on your methodology.  Many years ago, when my kids were little, they decided at one point that the "proper" way to count to 100 was:

"One, two, skip a few, ninety-nine, one hundred!" 

Oh, and just to keep NP happy....
