As you currently know there are bonuses and minuses like pleasant conversation and unpleasant conversation. What if that was taken to the next level FRIENDSHIPS !!! What if people could be best buds and get pluses from talking with one another.There would be enemies to.I a friend dies they would be depression and binging.It would also be cool if there could be relationships such as lover. I think that they should also add in awkward conversation like if one them is naked.Also I just wanna say to Tynan Sylvester keep on working on Rimworld keep doing what your doing !

Well, relationships were promised in the Kickstarter and so far pretty much everything else mentioned there was added sooner or later, so I think it's pretty much a confirmed feature. So far Alpha 11 seems to be a massive AI expansion so relationships will most likely come later, but that depends entirely on Tynan.

I just want to make it clear that nothing was "promised" in the Kickstarter that hasn't already been delivered. There are no "confirmed" features that aren't in the game already. Relationships were - with many other features - *mentioned* as something that *might* get added to the game, some day.

Just want to kill that meme before it starts. Ludeon development is very flexible and changes direction often in response to feedback; this approach is flatly incompatible with the idea of promised features and long-term plans.

yea, most parts of this list are already within the game. although i think the term used was "proposed" modules instead of "promised" features.



nevertheless, i also agree that relationships, friendships, romance, etc.. would add more to the "story" of the "human" colonists in rimworld.  since right now these characters feel a bit like "inhumane" simulations, and there's not much story about the "individual" since people don't fall in-love, they don't make friendships,  they don't hate some people but adore others, and the only thing that matters is how "inconvenient" it would be for one of them to die, since somebody else has to replace the broken cog in the colony machine for it to function normally..

also, they don't have "woohoo".. lel. (joke)



it's fun to see how your colonists starts "pairing-off" with each other.

no idea about the void gods.

maybe check the rimworld primer or lore.. not sure if there's a sticky of it somewhere.

Void gods seems more like a DF only thing, Rimworld lacks a certain, mystical spiritual mystery feel about it that DF has, like the huge mythical beasts that lurk the depths below. where as the extent rimworld goes to is praying to who knows what. I really think Void Gods could easily be replaced by electronic faulty systems and other Real world things that could go wrong for the same amount of fun and events
