I was playing the game and i was thinking of a few ideas to help benefit the game, obviously the game was well though out, and it was worked on a lot, but in my opinion, there is always room for improvement. I have a list of things for ideas, some of them may have already been brought up, some may not have.
1: A way to use medical kits.
2: Bed types causes comfort status. for instance a resting place would be -10, and a normal bed would be +10
3: More upgrades
3a: Upgrading the food to make it likeable for your people.
3b: New defense system (like a Gauss turret)
3c: Weapon upgrade improvements. You can do things like add a scope to all of the guns for better accuracy.
3d: When you fully research all of the available research able items, you can have something like. "Weapon Mark 1 --> Weapon Mark 2"
4: More graphic options. I'll admit, I have a stupid sucky laptop that isn't good at performing games. My computer has trouble running simple flash games for goodness sakes. So maybe adding things like "plant animations" "Smooth lighting" "Particles" etc.
5: make the animals an available source of food. Have a new job group called "Hunter" and he will only hunt when ever you have selected an animal as "not forbidden" [Low priority job].
6: Have a camp fire.
7: Have a grill (possibly a research item)
8: Melee weapons. (knives, Swords, etc.) (research able)
9: Armor and shields. (research able)
10:Open water for fishing?
11: Have carpet a higher appeal then smooth stone.
12: to be continued...

Oh, and barbed wire for a defense system. make it a research able defense and make it so that it slightly hurts the opponent (by at most 3 damage). And slightly slower then the sand bags.

1-12 with exception of 4 - already suggested or "this is pre-alpha and there will be more stuff" ;)

As for 4 - you need to be realistic here. If your laptop has problems running flash, no amount of graphical options will help you. This game doesn't put a lot of stress on GPU as opposed to CPU. The finished game will be optimized to run more smoothly - but don't expect miracles.

I understand that, I just need to get a new computer. And I also understand that the game is in beta I believe? Well, thanks for the input! :)

Tell that to every SWAT officer that carries a riot shield in a phalanx.

Practical defense methods? how archaic. What are we, barbarians?

And the game is in pre-alpha therefor lacking alot of content that will be there in the future.
