Using Allowed Areas to make a caste-based dystopia

When I saw that Alpha 11 let you assign colonists to allowed areas, the first thing I thought about doing was assigning my colonists to different castes, with different quality of life, in true 70's dystopian future movie style. (Eg, food dispensers for the working class, and freezers full of high quality meals for the ruling class/administrators; color coded clothing for each caste, etc). I'm looking forward to doing this with my next colony.

Has anyone experimented with this yet?

So far I've used it for 2 things, Keeping people inside during a warg attack, which didn't work. I had to manually lock the doors to prevent one of my pawns from taking a "shortcut" via the outside. (they can't select destinations outside their area, but they can path through the outside, understandable but annoying at times)

I've also used it to assign an "indoors cleaner/hauler" a nice way to have one of those annoying frail/bad back people hail produce from the fields to the freezer without risking them running off to haul ore and starve to death halfway there.
