More Game Start Options

I was thinking that there should be some more options when you start the game. Maybe some to make it a bit more difficult, a bit more easy, or something in the middle, regardless of which storyteller you choose.

Im thinking things like:

-No additional steel spawns/those groupings scattered around the map
-No additional survival meals/those packages scattered around the map
-No steam geyser spawns
-Steam geysers only spawn inside mountains/hills
-No random buildings/walls/random cryptosleep pods (I personally find it quite annoying when the entire map is littered with them)
-Automatically make any resources spawned at the beginning of the game forbidden (So you dont have to look around the entire giant map to manually do it)
-Spawn with raid in progress/group of enemies walking through center of map who will attack if they see you, or pick up any supplies they can carry and leave

Any thoughts on this? Its something id like to see, especially the one without random buildings etc... (Since I usually play on ludoncreous it gets pretty annoying sometimes to have them at every corner)

Things already default as forbidden.  I usually have to highlight the map several times to mark everything unforbidden before my colonists even land.

I would like to have a clickable option that stops the map from spawning meals all over the place, and another option to stop the map from spawning everything else as well and only the stuff that came down with my ship parts.  Same for removing of all ruined structures and ancient crypto sleep areas.
Click to see my steam. I'm a lazy modder who takes long breaks and everyone seems to hate.

Ah silly me, thats what I meant, to auto make everything unforbidden, its such a hassle.

And I agree, having an option to only choose your actual ship components/stuff that came in the pods with your colonists would be the best IMO

I think this is a great idea, and it doesn't sound difficult to implement.

Another one I've been thinking about, is an option to set the number of starting colonists.

Since this might make the game easier, it could be disabled for the harder AI storyteller modes.

In any case, I was watching DF tutorials on YouTube recently, and noticed that it normally starts with seven dwarves.  So why not provide the option to start a RimWorld game with, say, 3 - 7 colonists?

That's because honestly, seven colonists would be overpowered as FUCK. DF lasts for years and is immensely larger. With 7 colonists you'd have shit hauled, things built, trees cut, and a base in days and production through the roof. You'd be able to set up a colony in the first month.

I'd like it if I could either see what clothing my colonists are going to spawn with, or if what clothing they had was somewhat dependent on the biome. I started a colony on the ice sheet biome and one of my colonists began with no pants, and of course there are no animals that can be hunted for leather to quickly make some pants. I had to wait a long time for a bulk trader to come to buy some cloth from.
