Hey, I was wondering how to edit a texture for an item E.G. silver - Thanks

Hi mate.

Check there : RimWorld core art source thread - for downloading the original art pack.
(pay attention at how files/folders are organized... See below)

Do your thing (don't know if you want to add texture or alter existing)

And after that you put your new image in a new folder in mods folder (like a mod - check how it's done in the mods you know well/use often). Be sure to respect the way it's done in other mods or in the art pack.

If you just want to replace existing picture you should only create a mod folder containing a "Textures" folder (ex. RimWorld\Mods\_your_folder_\Textures\Things\Special\DropPod.png for an alternative droppod).

EDIT: better example after re-reading your post   : \RimWorld\Mods\_your_folder_\Textures\Things\Item\Resource\Silver.png
