Hi,

The problem here is what the title says. Right after I load the attached save, the game crashes.

The circumstances are as follows:
-I've been playing this colony for about two years in-game.
-I got the Manhunter Event and immediately saved the game.
-Less than a minute later, when I try to gather the colonists, the game crashes. This happens every time I load the save.

Se the following link for save-, world- and log-file.

I hope there's something I can do. Would like to continue this colony.

Kind regards,
Levin.

you do have a mod loaded with that game save, the stonecutting mod.  Makes it difficult to know if it is the mod, or the core game.

Levin

ah, sorry, I forgot about that one. I'll try deactivating it and see if I can load the game.

Levin

No effect from deactivating mod, the game still crashes after load. Of course, having used the mod for some time in the game there could be hidden "damage".

I did notice something interesting. I saved right after Wargs appeared. Instead of making a beeline for my base, they instead move along the maps edge. When I click them I see that they're all going to melee-attack Ana. I have no colonist named that, but it's the same pawn which trows the exception.

Levin

Hi again.

As I mentioned, the wargs that arrived were trying to attack the non-existant pawn. So I tried starting the game in dev-mode, deleted the offensive wargs, and summoned a new warg attack. This worked. The new wargs attacked as they should and the game did not crash.

A minor side-effect is that now the sound cuts out after 15 minutes or so.

TLHeart

Yes the error was already active, so deactivating the mod, on the same save makes no difference, since the error is already present and saved.

Ana, I never did find her, must of been a wanderer/visitor on the edge of the map. And by the direction the wargs are headed, that is where she is at.

Sounds like you found a work around. Enjoy the game.
And the sound cutting out is a known issue.

skullywag

i wonder if you saved it just as she left the map and one or more of the wargs hadnt cleared her as a target on the next tick, so when reloading they are referencing an object that doesnt exist. Extremely bad timing on your part but a bug none the less if that was it.
Skullywag modded to death.
I'd never met an iterator I liked....until Zhentar saved me.
Why Unity5, WHY do you forsake me?

A serious bug. Let's consolidate info into the other report on it. I'm currently asking for info there; anything would be appreciated.
