Travelling feature

Wouldn't be cool in RimWorld if you could actually travell? or send some of your colonists in an little visit or exploration? It would be cool if you could send colonists with resources in their inventory to rival faction base and try to siege them,and if you defeat them to take their base, like conquer terrain, build on it and defend it !
