Does the Mac version matter?

Does the game work for Mac users using any version lower than 10.6? (I run a Mac computer version 10.5.8 )

I have not gotten the game yet. I just want to know first if I won't be screwed over by some kind of error or if it won't work on a 10.5.8 version of mac.

So there is certain probability it will work.

PROBLEM SOLVED (maybe)
I just updated my mac into the 10.6 versions. Sorry if I wasted your time, just found out I had a disc in my closet.
