So I'm just going about my relatively modded game and I noticed that devil strand's sale price is 12 dollars and Human Leather sells for 15 dollars. All other leather sells for 3.50. Just wondering why this is.

human leather is for humans. Human skinning is frowned apon in the universe though once produced nobody really minds wearing someone's [strike] flesh[/strike] leather. Therefore its rare when compared to Warg leather of example.

Devilstrand(textile) gives cloths made from devilstrand greater protection.
if i remember correctly +electrical and flame damage?

I just thought it was interesting that human leather is valued so much more highly than any other type of leather, especially since it offers similar protection to similar types of leather. I find Devilstrand to be more generally useful than leather, which is why it's nearly 4 times the price of other leathers. Except for human's.

an item's effectiveness does not really corrolate to it's value. if it's rarer then it's gonna cost more

All the skin is donated - which is why it costs so much, not many people donate. But I honestly don't see much difference between a cow leather wallet and a human leather one. I mean at least the human wallets WANTED to be human wallets - cows don't get much say.
