Rimworld wont launch

Whenever I start up the game, the screen just cuts to black and remains there without change. The version is Alpha 11d. And before anyone asks, no mods were installed and I tried re-downloading it multiple times. Is anyone else encountering this problem?

This would be better posted in the help subforum, But have you tried deleting the configs folder. It may not help in your case but it's worth a shot. it should be here C:\Users\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld.

I know for a fact that this helps with black screens when ever mods are involved.

Eh, I may have lied. I'd try support instead of help. as help is for mods and help is for core I believe.

Alright, I found the AppData folder by unhiding all the hidden stuff. Thanks for your help I wont be crowding the general discussion section any longer
