Colonists won't tame animals

My colonists won't tame animals, to test it, I locked them all in a room with an animal designated for taming and I constantly had the "3 colonists idle" notification.

Animals require raw food to tame. Herbivores require vegetation and carnivores require meat - Omnivores don't give a damn.
