Mod Request: All items not forbidden on drop

My colonists are running around in a daze dropping their clothes.  People are dying outside without my paying attention.  Someone got incapacitated, again, and dropped his super chaingun in the rain.

Can we make it so items are only forbidden if the player says so?

I'm pretty sure this is the right place as there's no subforum dedicated to mod requests, leaving this particular no-mans land of the mod subforum the best place to generally talk mods and make requests for active modders to try and take on.
