How do I treat my dog?!

So my dog has been bleeding out for a few mins now and I tried to get my colonist to heal/treat my dog but all it says is to train him. IDK if its in the game yet but I WANT TO SAVE HIM!!!

YES!!! He just needed a sleeping spot to be rescued. HE LIVES!!!!

Hehe all is well Thats a frequently asked question, takes some people a while to figure out, yet Im wondering because it is the same with colonists, they cant be treated without sleeping spot or bed either.
