Map size

Good morning, is it possible to reduce the size of the map? I made a colony, but it started to lag (I am playing on a large map) And i dont want to start a new colony, because im quite settled there. SO, would it be possible to cut a part of the map?

You could try just editing the numbers in the save file.

The game would probably crash when you tried to load it, though...

I'm working on a crop feature in my editor, I'll let you know by PM if I ever succeed. But surelly, just cropping the map is not enough - all overlapping things must be removed.
