Black Screen on start, no fix works!

Hi,

This is the first time I've had this problem of when I start up the game I just get a black screen and nothing else. Never had it before with any other version of Rimworld, etc... When I do a fresh download I can play the game straight away. However when I come back in a few hours or the next day it's a black screen. I've tried to delete the modconfig folder in the %AppData% folder, I've tried to delete all the configs in that folder, I've tried a fresh install multiple times, I've tried running as admin. Nothing seems to work and any help would be apprieciated. Sorry for another forum post about black screens but I can't find a fix which works for me anywhere!
