Hello,

so i have observed something that bugs me quite a lot, and might be a bug or bad design?

scenario:
- i have my animals roam around freely, no master assigned to any of them
- a raid happens
- i pause game, assign a new allowed area (indoors, safehouse) to all my animals. i unpause

expected behaviour:
- i expect my animals to inmediately turn around and rush to the new assigned zone

what does actually happen:
- animals keep moving to wherever they were moving before i changed zones and only turn around once they have reached their previous destinaation, which might be across the map into the middle of the raid

possible workaround:
- haven't really tested this, but i believe that assigning them a master (when available) and drafting that master, will trigger them quicker to change zones.
- but as you can imagine, this is a lot of work with 100 animals, everytime a raid comes.

bonus petition:
- please implement presets for animal zones, so i can save a "normal" and a "shit hits the fan" preset and change all my animals with a couple of clicks, instead 100

I get a similar issue, I mark the indoor areas of my base (built entirely into a mountain) as Manhunter (simply marked indoors for animals), so that when I am raided or have a manhunter event, I can have all my colonists and animals safely indoors behind my walls. However often animals that have been trained to haul will rush through my main door to collect any dropped food just outside, and Colonists that I have set to repair, will decide to run out into all the cross fire to repair a building/power cable outside of the marked safe zone. Very frustrating.

i have my base within a inner wall and i forbid the door to lead outside which makes no one or animal able to get out, then my outter wall is where i have my defense

Hmmm, not sure whether pawns should immediately end their jobs when their allowed area setting changes.
