Sound stopped working

Hey guys took a break from rimworld for a while and when I came back the sound wouldn't play. Since it wasn't working decided I would upgrade to the current patch so uninstalled all mods, deleted old rimworld, installed new one, but the sound is still gone. Any suggestions?

I did a lot of messing around with my audio settings and somehow managed to get it to work again, unfortunately I have no idea what I did so am unable to really give help to anyone who is having the same issue.

Sound has broken for me before, but simply quiting rimworld and starting it up again does the trick for me.

Did you try without any mods? Might be outdated mods causing trouble.

I have it happen occasionally. Saving and reloading the map tends to fix it. Haven't been able to get it to reproduce reliably.

It's happened to me twice I think. Once many versions back, and once more in A12. Two different computers. Restarting the game fixed it both times.

He's not talking about the old sound bug guys. If he re-installed, he obviously restarted the game as well....

I've had the same bug a few times in A12. Can't reproduce. Quit and restart rimworld works tho.

Is this sound bug and 'the old sound bug' not the same with 'the Unity sound bug'? Because Tynan can't fix that one.
