I like that setup, especially the explosive traps at the beginning. I've thought about using those, but I've never taken the time to experiment with them. That would be a great way to soften up the melee guys before leading the ranged guys into a barrage of turrets or colonist gunfire. Thanks for sharing!

@Listy not a bad setup, but I suggest a change: get rid of the sandbags at the bottom of room#1 and use stone chunks instead.

reason: repair waste of time

I did used to do that, however stone chunks cannot be repaired, and so eventually you run out. As I have plenty of manpower (~40 colonists) repair time isn't an issue.

Fun thing I worked out recently, Shells explode with a 3 square radius. Might have to play with those as untriggerable mines.

I call this kill box "The digestor," because it is basically a long intestine that 'digests' the enemies. The combination of hunger, exhaustion, small space, turns them berserk in mass, and they just all kill each other eventually. Whoever survives, starves to death eventually. Some invaders try to turn around mid way after giving up, but it is always too late; they are in too deep and can't get out soon enough. Also, the entrance has a roof that collapses when the destroy the sole turret I have in the entrance. :)
