After accidently impregnating a colonists liver with the dev console i decided to see if a colonist could actually give birth when getting impregnated body parts (the liver guy got killed)

So i present you The Midas Experiment!

Pregnancy might cause vomiting, So i just spawned him some chocolate to feel better!

Pregnancy reached late-stage, Midas got downed immediatly, it seems he is in need of a nurse now.

And in this image, after the children are born, we see Midas lock himself away with all the liquor.


I didn't realize how realistic some parts of this game were.

How old were the children upon birth? Were they the fabled babies I've heard about, it full fledged adults?

all pawns have lifestages including humans already in the game. All the pieces are there, just needs a modder to go crazy.

Doing a bit of experimenting with babies/children. It seems that baby/child pawns have some (lower) base stats that are different than standard colonists. They are, aside from that, normal colonists in every sense. At current they do not have a unique pawn icon, but that probably could be modded.
