We were tasked to draw aliens.


The guy above is one of them. The others are an eel-pirate-with-cyborg-arms and a derpy merchant.
I'm disappointed that I couldn't get the colors I wanted.

I love the creativity here. That mushroom monster is completely original to me.
Usually with art you piece parts of the finished work with others that may have inspired it. Nothing comes to mind with these. It's great!

It's not really that original though. Imagine those giant trees you usually find in fantasy works. Now turn it into a mushroom and add legs.

Since you guys seem interested in it. I thought up some lore about it.

"Entity of Autumn"
It plants its feet into the ground and stay in place year long until Autumn. It builds up those yellow thingies on its side during that time. When autumn comes it stands up and moves to a different location all the while spreading it's yellow spore thingies. Then plants itself into the ground again during winter. Spring arrives and a trail of forests, grass and whatever else plants appear from the Entity's path.

Simply put, it's a giant fertilizer.
