[Mod Request] Droids

It seems Droids in Mechanical Defense 2 is never going to be updated by the original creator... sooooo could someone just make a new mod that allows us to build droids again? Please? Pretty please? I need my Droids badly! D:

Check out Haplo's Misc +MAI mod. It's got droids of some kind in it.

Yeah I know of MAI+Robots already. But I really miss being able to build your own droids. Not having to buy it from an interstellar vendor :/

Problem is that MAI is, in the end, a colonist under different graphics. Mippen's droids were something else entirely. All of their mechanics were different than that of organic beings. They really felt like robots.

You can make some sort of droids (they're actually mechanoids) in the mod "More Mechanoids" (https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=9221.0) they do all kinds of stuff, from cleaning, healing, cooking, hauling,...
