There's not really any hard requirements for Rimworld apart from the resolution which cannot be lower than 768 vertical, (ie, 1366 x 768, 1280 x 768, etc.)

If your computer is too ancient, you'll get some lag when the AI gets complex. But that would only happen if it's 10+ years old.
