Idea for a option in the ending!

I'm not sure if this has already been thought up but I think it would be cool to have a option after you have launched into space if you could have a option to land on another part of the map you have generated.

The resources that you had in the previous area would be transferred into the new map except they would be resources that would be only accessible once you build the Global trades beacon or a new beacon that would let you access and call down resources when you need them (also accessible though the com station)

Every time you go to the next area on the planet the world gets slightly more difficult and maybe restarting would give a bonus to something or give your characters an increase in level cap or something which would also start speeding up the production rate of your expansion.

I think this would be great for players that enjoy having something to work towards/Surviving as long as they can. and also having more events on the map when you are launching down (like how there are enemy colonies that you can see) maybe there are more like "sightings of a bigger monster or a treasure in the area".

This whole Idea would continue from the beginning where you crash on the planet but the colony continues to expand and take other area's and eventually you will have many area's conquered. I'm not sure if this is possible but it would be really cool to implement!!

If you don't know where or when then just do it at random locations, believe me it
will be an

or maybe have several colonies and be able to switch around. there would be some kind of algorithm to calculate average production per month for a colony, and when you're not there, it would produce resources at that rate without any actual calculations going on. you can also establish trade routes, although they'd be prone to raider attacks, so you'd have to send escorts with them. maybe even add the option to assault other factions at some point.

I like that the only worry that I would feel would come from that is that (not sure if I read it right) but would energy be included in that "production"

I feel like if energy was then it would break the game in that factor and having multiple going at the same time would create a lot of energy and it would make the game extremely easy, Maybe this could be a separate game mode or something you can enable/disable?

I like the Idea of trade routes but I feel like nothing should be being produced per month maybe every half a year it adds some supplies from one of the other bases to the "global" resources or something like that.

The idea of raiding other factions I like but I think that you should be required to have a certain amount of colonists in you colony to be able to even think about a raid because If you loose the raid  game over. Maybe something like 10 colonists in total but can only send half of them max?

I meant that you could establish trade routes that would carry some resources, of course determined by the player, from one colony to the other. if there aren't enough, they take everything there (but a minimum amount to be set by the player, maybe). and by resources I mean items. so unless there are portable batteries introduced, you can't transfer energy. you could, however, have a mining colony in some kind of cold mountain biome, and supply it via a colony in flat temperate forests.

I see, I agree with that actually I feel like that would be cool to have in the game so then there is more to do after you finish a colony, Having specialized colonies in different biomes would be cool.

Cause I have a few colonies going one in a desert one in a jungle and another in a temperate forest.
Maybe it requires animals to start a trade route. Muffalo and other big animals could have a skill that allows them to carry items in a trade route?

there should be wagons and such, which could be pulled by big animals.

EDIT: and maybe sleds for cold biomes in winter.
