Can't merge adjacent caravans (pebcak)

I don't know if I misread a doc or something, but I noticed one of my outer caravans lost all its food to spoilage.

I sent another caravan out with a load of food to rescue them, only to find out that I couldn't merge the rescue caravan with the hungry one.

Is it possible for caravans to merge?

Your title says adjacent. They need to be on the *same space* to merge. Select both caravans and you should get a 'merge' command icon.

Ah, so you have to select multiple caravans *at the same time*.

That fixed it.  I thought I had to select the cell they were in.

By "adjacent" I meant two caravans next to each other in the same tile.

So yeah, select the caravans themselves, not the tile.

Resolved as user error.
