I always liked organ harvesting and saw great potential in a cannibal colony, but couldn't play one because there are so few cannibals, and mood debuffs take too long for organ harvesting to be a main source of income.

I've suggested some traits changes and things, but it's unlikely things will change short term.

After reading quickly about modding, I found a solution so that I can try it out.

You just need to change 2 numbers in the Traits_Singular.xml file, to make these desirable traits more common. Conveniently, these traits are next to each other in the file already. Increase Cannibal from 0.08 to 200, and do the same for psychotic. Now 80% of the pawns on the map are "Cannibal Psychopath" and the remaining are "Psychopath Cannibal".

Let the game begin!

<TraitDef>
    <defName>Psychopath</defName>
    <commonality>200</commonality>
    <degreeDatas>
      <li>
        <label>psychopath</label>
        <description>NAME has no empathy. The suffering of others doesn't bother HIM at all. HECAP doesn't mind if others are butchered, left unburied, imprisoned, or sold to slavery - unless it affects HIM. HECAP also feels no mood boost from socializing.</description>
      </li>
    </degreeDatas>
  </TraitDef>

  <TraitDef>
    <defName>Cannibal</defName>
    <commonality>200</commonality>
    <degreeDatas>

Edit: It feels a bit like easy mode since there's plenty of food available and no mood loss for corpses running around. Feeding simple human meat meals to anyone is a +15 mood gain, and these meals are plentiful.

Hmmm, how plentiful?  You can't survive for a month on a pirate raid -- can you?
If you give an annoying colonist a parka before banishing him to the ice sheet you'll only get a -3 penalty instead of -5.

And don't forget that the pirates chasing a refugee are often better recruits than the refugee is.

We can always eat normal food as a last resort. We're not restricted to human meat.

I've played a similar playthrough. Although it was more strict on cannibalism only and I had to exploit the visitor system when food got low.
