Hello, I was using this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/rimworld/mods/3/?tab=1 , which was THE BEST!

But it is only for older version. Please, make something similiar .

• Batteries with better efficiency - slower drain, more capacity. Or power storage and only more efficiency battery... You know what I mean...
• Some reactor which doesn't need anything to work - just can produce more heat or something.

there are generators coming in alpha 13 base game they will probably run off of wood

Those two things are covered already, Skullywag has a Mechanoid-based generator and stuffed batteries, ItchyFlea has a mod to add radiothermal generators.

there's several mods that include alternative power sources among other stuff.
apart from mentioned above, the Industrialization mod has nuclear plants.
