So, I'm just about to start a playthrough with three colonists, all of them being related. To be more specific, I have a grandfather, a father, and a son. Not quite sure what to expect as this is my first alpha 13 playthrough, though i'd love to hear all of your guyses familiar stories about the game.

I wanted to start with colonists with some relationships, so I randomized them until I got them someway related. I ended up with a guy that crashed with her ex-wife and her mother. Just when I bemoaned our hero's destiny (stranded on a rimworld with you ex and mother-in-law), I noticed he also hated women. I think it was our 6th colonists until we got a second male. Such a lucky guy! No wonder he was the first to go berserk, killing the colony cat he was bonded with.

Later he fell in love with some other and they married next to geysir during sunset. So far the ex has been only one to die, she died next to her mother during their assault against sappers. I think mother was far more liked anyway.

Interesting! I didn't know new relationships could form, I'll look out for that.
