this is how i solved my problem, the colonists don't fight 90% of the time the turrets and mortars take care of any outside threat. the only problem is when i get an infestation but in that case i have all the time i need to prepare

I just don't care about that mood debuff any more, it's just always there. Crafting armors is expensive, and it wears up very quickly (slowly from wearing, and very quick from fighting). I'm getting tons of armor from raiders, and I can't dismantle it for steel to create a one new from 5 old, so I just stopped to care about appeal.

I don't know what your post has to do with the topic at all, but impressive base. Where are your turrets and mortars? I couldn't see them in the photo but maybe it's my bad eyes.
