trade caravan hunted by grizzly

so there i was saying... "yay a trade caravan is here!"

as i watched in horror a grizzly started to hunt their muffalo.

the muffalo lost its head... the caravan members killed the grizzly and i screamed "My trade caravan!"

then i said.. "oh my free stuff.." as I noticed the muffalo dropped 1500 plus silver and a bunch of high end items.

intentional or a just funny happenstance?

Pack muffalos do indeed drop stuff ,  though its odd they don't even try to carry some.

I would think they as much as they could out... Also did they shoot tge grizzly before or after the first blow?
