How do i cure them? and what do they do? Besides enhance my pawns abilities?

Enhanced ability, and a constant pain... Really, if you have a pain-stopper, its a straight buff as far as i know.

Wait does it change their body part type? I had my starting people, and maya didnt have a bionic limb before the crash. but now she does

Huh, not that I've noticed. I've got a few with mechanites. To confirm; treatment is best as it reduces pain and they disappear eventually anyway, it doesn't seem to matter if they get treatment or not.

Yes, the mechanites effectively turn the body part in question bionic, and it displays as such on the character sheet.

And they will stay that way? I have some one who is a prostophile, and is in absolute heaven right nnow
