Build on wall

I suspect the answer to my question is no but I have to ask.

I have an object I use to show the wall support range. I can place it anywhere including over other structures such as walls. The only place I can't place it in on rock walls. Does anyone know if there is any way to place something on a rock wall?

It's part of the rock walls definition that other objects can't be in the same cell.  Without first overriding the rock wall, you won't be able to.  But, if you override the rock wall, then other things (such as power conduits) could be built in the same cell.

That makes sense. I'm also planning to change the rock wall definition to add the roof support range but you're tight, I can't change that core behavior. I'll just have to accept it.
