I am not sure if it is called fzzt but it is where a uncovered power line breaks I like it but I hate that you need a wall for it it would be cool if there was a power line cover and that would work like a wall if you know of any mod that does this or will make it please reply thank you

Power conduits don't break for being outside, they just overload from time to time. There was a mods for A12 (I think) that completely removed that (If i find the link I'll edit it in here). There was also a fuse box mod that let you construct a fuse box that would prevent the explosion, but IIRC it hasn't been updated since A11

EDIT:

I see that the rumors that Skullywag modded himself to death were greatly exaggerated.

RT Fusebox prevents the damage from the short circuit event. It is updated and working fine. You will need to start a new map for it to work.

tonsrd

also a mod called Less incident trolling has a no explode xml file so udont get zzzt anymore.

if you can afford it put fire poppers in every room! Also its a good idea to have at least 2 in the room with batteries. Also! It's a good idea to have at least 2 battery banks that you can switch on and off! this way when a line overloads and your battery bank fails, you can immediately switch to your 100% ready to go battery bank!

Or don't use batteries.

That's not really an option if you rely on solar panels.

True. I should have added "and don't use solar panels except for the beginning of the game.".

I usually only build 1 or 2 solars at the beginning of the game then I stick with geos and the wood powered generators.

Ok. Here's a tip for battery uses. Put your switches right next to the battery with no conduit between. I believe (although I'm not 100% sure) when you disconnect your charged up batteries, they wont explode on that side of the switch because there is no conduit.
